Samsung Galaxy A13 5G design
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G’s design is similar to the global model that launched in December. The power button and volume keys are on the right side of the frame. The SIM tray section is on the left. The USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and a microphone are at the bottom. The rear is where the triple camera setup is present along with an LED flash and Samsung logo. While the front design is hidden, we know it has a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper and a sizeable bezel below the screen.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G specifications
As the phone debuted in the US back in December, its specifications are already revealed. The handset comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a v-shaped notch. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card up to 1TB. The phone runs on Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 custom skin out of the box. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.
Moving to optics, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup on the back, comprising of a 50MP primary sensor and a couple of two 2MP lenses for macro and depth shots. There is a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options include a 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
How does Samsung Galaxy A13 5G compare with Galaxy A13 4G?
In comparison, the Galaxy A13 4G has a slightly larger 6.6-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset on the 5G model is being replaced with the Exynos 850 chipset on the 4G version. The primary rear camera is the same 50MP sensor, while the selfie snapper is cut down to a 5MP unit on the 5G version. The 5,000mAh battery capacity remains unchanged. However, the 4G model runs Android 12 OS out of the box whereas the 5G shipped with Android 11 skin in the US. There are chances that Samsung might ship the phone with the latest Android 12 OS in India.
