Vivo Y21A seems to be in the works as a new budget offering from the brand. It will come as a successor to the Vivo Y20A. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from industry sources that the phone will launch in India sometime in October. However, we’re yet to learn the exact launch date of the phone but we can speculate that Vivo would start teasing the phone in the next few days. Unfortunately, no hardware specifications of the phone are revealed at the moment but it should bring some sizeable upgrades over the Vivo Y20A.

Vivo Y20A specifications

To recall, the Vivo Y20A sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage that should be further expandable via a microSD card. The phone boots Android 11 OS with Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box and a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support. It is claimed to offer 17 hours of streaming and 10 hours of gaming.

Moving to optics, the Vivo Y20A has triple rear cameras, with a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP Bokeh camera. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Vivo claims it can unlock the phone in just 0.26 seconds. It measures 164 x 76 x 8 mm and weighs 192 Grams. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microUSB port for charging.

The Vivo Y20A price in India is Rs 11,490 for 3GB + 64GB storage and it comes in two colours: Nebula Blue and Dawn White.
