MG Motors has partnered with Metadome.ai to announce its new web-based, photorealistic metaverse named MGVerse at Auto Expo 2023. This platform claims to improve customer experiences across all channels — web, app, and in-store. MGVerse will have an arena and will come equipped with an expansive virtual world. This platform will offer various experiences including — an avatar zone, a creator zone consisting of a multi-car showroom with a 3D car configurator and an opportunity to experience virtual test drives. Moreover, the MGVerse will also bring a replica of the MG pavilion at Auto Expo 2023. This will allow enthusiasts to visit the Auto Expo virtually from their homes.

In 2022, Mahindra used Autodome to unveil its first e-SUV, XUV400 in the metaverse. XUV400Verse is also a cloud-based photorealistic and interactive brand showroom that offers several features including – gamified virtual test drives, a hyper-realistic 3D car configurator with multiplayer capabilities and a feature to book cars for an actual test drive.
