WEEK 9 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em
Kyler Murray injury update
Murray (ankle) was sidelined Wednesday, and don’t be surprised if he misses Thursday’s practice, too. Kliff Kingsbury said he feels comfortable with Murray playing even if he doesn’t practice all week. That said, this feels like a rest situation for the third-year QB, and the panic meter for his Week 9 status is quite low.
Murray is an elite fantasy QB, and San Francisco gives up the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, so we like Murray in the QB3 spot. Even if his rushing is limited a bit, he’s more than capable of putting up monster numbers through the air against a struggling secondary.
WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Dak Prescott injury update
Prescott (calf) practiced Wednesday and is expected to be full-go for Thursday’s practice. There is reportedly a much different feel heading into this week vs. last week, and Prescott is expected to make his return to action against the Broncos. Barring any setbacks, feel comfortable with him in your lineup.
WEEK 9 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
We rank him as our QB6 for Week 9. Denver has looked great on defense at times, but strong offenses have been able to have their way against them. Now down Von Miller, the Cowboys should put up big numbers against the Broncos.
