Fantasy Injury Updates: Latest news on Alvin Kamara, D’Andre Swift, Damien Harris affecting Week 14 RB rankings
Alvin Kamara, D’Andre Swift, and Damien Harris are all dealing with injury issues we enter the final week of the fantasy regular season. They each have plenty of RB1 weeks on their resume, so their availabilities would have big impacts on our rankings — both this week in Kamara’s and Swift’s cases and the following week for Harris. Get the latest injury updates below so you know how to navigate these issues when making lineup decisions.

WEEK 14: Top waiver pickups
Alvin Kamara injury update
We’ll have to stay tuned for the latest Kamara (knee) practice report, but for now, we don’t know much except he could return any time soon after a month off. The injury is not believed to be serious, but it seems the Saints are being extra cautious. Kamara was limited in practice all last week, so it would seem as if he’s close. If he’s out again, Mark Ingram will be the primary back again, and it seems like Tony Jones Jr. has lost his chance after being a healthy scratch in Week 13.
If Kamara does return, his fantasy owners will be happy to know the Jets are the worst team against fantasy RBs, and that’s who Kamara will face off with. That said, we’re ranking him aggressively as the RB4 in standard and RB3 in PPR leagues.
WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
D’Andre Swift injury update
Before Week 13, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Swift is a “long-shot” to return in Week 14 against the Broncos, but we’ll see how the situation plays out. In all likelihood, Swift will be a limited participant in practice later in the week and will be a game-time decision, at best.
The Broncos are now just a neutral matchup for RBs, so Jamaal Williams is our RB20 in standard and RB17 in PPR if Swift misses another game. Williams only got one target against the Vikings, but we expect that to pick up based on his target figures throughout the season as a backup.
WEEK 14 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Damien Harris injury update
Harris (hamstring) left Monday’s game against the Bills a couple of times, with the Patriots off until Week 15, we likely won’t get many updates between now and next week. Given the extra rest time, Harris will likely be fine for New England’s next game, but the nagging injuries are really mounting with him.
If Rhamondre Stevenson is available in your league, go get him now. He would be the start if Harris is forced to miss time.
