Fantasy Injury Updates: Latest news on Marquise Brown, A.J. Brown, Antonio Brown, more WRs affecting Week 12 start ’em, sit ’em calls
It’s already been a tough week for fantasy wide receivers, as CeeDee Lamb (concussion), Amari Cooper (COVID), and Allen Robinson (hamstring) were all inactive on Thanksgiving and Calvin Ridley (personal) and DeVante Parker (hamstring) remain unlikely to return despite being eligible. On top of that, Marquise Brown, Antonio Brown, A.J. Brown, Sterling Shepard, and Corey Davis figure to be no better than “questionable.” Knowing the latest injury updates on those pass-catchers will be crucial ahead of Week 12 fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

WEEK 12 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em
Marquise Brown injury update
Brown (thigh) practiced on Wednesday after missing Week 11. The early-week session puts him on track to suit up on Sunday night against the Browns.
As long as Brown is active, he’s a must-start. The Ravens’ passing game went nowhere without him last week, though Lamar Jackson (illness) being out likely had much more to do with that. Jackson also returned to practice on Wednesday, so it should be all systems go for the Ravens in Week 12.

Antonio Brown injury update
Brown (ankle) hasn’t played since Week 6, and despite Bucs coach Bruce Arians saying Brown was “making progress” earlier this week, the veteran WR failed to practice on Wednesday or Thursday.
It’s still possible Brown suits up on Sunday against the Colts, but he’ll need at least a limited session on Friday. Chances are, he’s still a week away from playing, but we’ll have to wait for more updates. If Brown plays, he’s a must-start, especially in a favorable matchup like this.

A.J. Brown injury update
Brown (chest) didn’t practice on Wednesday, but that’s nothing new for him. The more important news is that he avoided “serious injury” last week, at least according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, so he figures to have a good chance of playing against the Patriots.
It hasn’t been a particularly good year for Brown, who’s failed to top 48 yards or score in any of the past three games, but we know he has elite upside every week. This week will be tough if he’s active, but Brown is at least worth a WR3 spot.
WEEK 12 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo
Sterling Shepard injury update
Shepard (quad) got in a practice last week before ultimately being ruled out, so his “DNP” on Thursday isn’t particularly concerning. The veteran receiver is close to coming back, and there’s a good chance it’s this week against Philadelphia.
Shepard averaged 11 targets in his three full games this year and was well on his way to a total like that in Week 8 (seven targets) before he got hurt again. With Kadarius Toney (quad) also dinged up, it’s tough to know what to expect from Shepard going forward, but he’s at least a WR3 in PPR leagues when he’s on the field.

Corey Davis injury update
Davis (groin) was downgraded from “limited” on Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, which is a bad sign for his availability against the Texans.
With Elijah Moore seemingly taking over as New York’s top receiver, Davis’ outlook isn’t very promising even if he does suit up. He always has WR3 potential, but his recent rash of injuries likely has him closer to being dropped than started by most owners.
