WEEK 12 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em

Is Saquon Barkley playing Week 12?

Barkley (ankle) got back on the field last Monday and was able to get in limited practices all week. He’s officially “questionable” for Sunday’s game against Philadelphia, but all signs point to him playing.

This could be one of those situations where Barkley is less than 100 percent the rest of the year, so he’ll continue to be listed as “questionable” just in case he has a late-week setback. He should be active, and given that this week’s matchup is much more favorable than last week’s, Barkley is at least worth an RB2 spot in fantasy lineups. If he is a surprise scratch, Devontae Booker would start and be a low-end RB2/high-end flex.

Is Cordarrelle Patterson playing Week 12?

After a week’s worth of limited practices, Patterson (ankle) is officially “questionable” for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

The fantasy breakout of the year might have played last week if Atlanta wasn’t in action on Thursday night, so it seems likely he’ll suit up for this one. If Atlanta opts to give him another week off, Qadree Ollison, Mike Davis, and Wayne Gallman will split time in the backfield, destroying any potential value for all three. If Patterson plays, he’s a must-start.

Is Damien Harris playing Week 12?

Harris (neck) has been on and off the injury report with various ailments all year, and we can add another one to the list ahead of Sunday’s game against the Titans. He’s officially “questionable,” but after getting limited practices all week, he seems likely to suit up.

Harris has fallen into a timeshare with Rhamondre Stevenson (knee), so he can’t be viewed as much more than a low-end RB2. His injury downgrades him slightly, but Stevenson is also dealing with a nagging ailment, so perhaps that evens it all out. Either way, both Pats backs are likely to be active and split time almost evenly.

Is Rhamondre Stevenson playing Week 12?

Stevenson (knee) was limited in practice the past two days, but despite being “questionable,” he’s in good position to play against the Titans.

After earning more playing time, Stevenson has flex upside every week. This isn’t a particularly favorable matchup on paper, but the Patriots figure to be running often this game, so Stevenson can still work as a flex as long as he’s active.
