Fantasy TE PPR Rankings Week 10: Who to start, sit at tight end in fantasy football
As bye weeks keep rolling along and injuries mount, streaming at the tight end position is more important than ever — especially since there have been very few tight ends who have been reliable options week in and week out. Of course, you’re not benching Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, or Mark Andrews, but we’re at the point where you could realistically have a better sleeper option than George Kittle. We’ll sort through it all in our Week 10 fantasy TE PPR rankings.
Logan Thomas (hamstring) should be back in Week 10, so do yourself a favor and snag him if he’s available in your league. It’s rare to acquire a player with top-five upside at any position for free, but here’s that chance. Dawson Knox (hand) is highly owned, but be on the lookout for his injury status, too. The most consequential loss to byes this week is probably C.J. Uzomah, so all the top guys are on the table. That said, a lot of people won’t need streamers this week, but we know some do.
WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Dan Arnold (@ Colts), Pat Freiermuth (vs. Lions), and Tyler Conklin (@ Chargers) are really the only three streamers we can advise you to play with any confidence. The Colts, Lions, and Chargers are very generous to tight ends, and with each of those guys being a focal point in their offenses, they should eat this week. Of course, start Thomas (vs. Buccaneers), too, but it almost doesn’t feel right to call him a streamer. Let it be known we like him as a top-10 play this week and the rest of the way.
WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | D/ST | Kicker
We’ve gotten to the point where it’s tough to consider Mo Alie-Cox (vs. Jaguars) as a PPR play, regardless of matchup. He sits are 33rd among tight ends in targets per game, and we know his only saving grace is a touchdown. Tommy Sweeney (@ Jets) has a strong matchup if Knox remains out, but he hasn’t benefited much from Knox’s absence. Like Alie-Cox and Sweeney, Jonnu Smith (vs. Browns) hasn’t shown us enough this season to consider him in a favorable matchup, especially when he’s constantly banged up. Jared Cook (vs. Vikings) has been attractive in certain weeks, but not in Week 10 against a top-eight defense against fantasy tight ends. Marcedes Lewis (vs. Seahawks) is another TD-or-bust guy better suited for standard leagues.
As mentioned earlier, the top studs are all in play this week, so although there are only a handful of playable options at the position, we expect a small percentage of fantasy owners to have to worry about streaming. Trust your studs and don’t overthink it.
Note: We’ll be updating these TE rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
