far cry 6: Far Cry 6 gameplay revealed by Ubisoft, launch date confirmed – Times of India

Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world action-adventure game Far Cry 6 is one big game people are waiting for. The French video game developer has released an official gameplay video of the game whose chief antagonist, Anton Castillo, is modeled on Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito. Castillo is the president of the fictional country of Yara and rules it with an iron fist. In the video, the game’s launch date has been revealed at the end, which is October 7, 2021.
The gameplay shows the mountainous paths you can take as the protagonist to travel. You can man and use vehicles like tanks, aeroplanes, boats etc. The highlight is the range of arsenal at your disposal. Far Cry 6 will give you a chance to equip yourself with a variety of heavy weapons like machine guns and mini rocket launcher firing equipment that can be strapped to your back. You will also get some flamethrower action. It looks like you will be able to control animals, by gaining some sort of kinship with them like a horse which you can pet and ride. Or, on a more dangerous note, whistle an alligator a tune to go for someone in the area. Take a look at the long video yourself. To cut to the actual gameplay footage, you’ll have to skip ahead.

As per an earlier report by Danish website GameReactor, Far Cry 6 was expected to launch in February. The report also stated that the first person shooter game may be set in a different geographical setting than North America, a prediction that has come true. The latest game in the series yet, Far Cry 5, is set in Hope County, Montana, that’s home to a cult with the name of The Project at Eden’s Gate.
