Far More Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Players Lowered the Difficulty Rather Than Raised It

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor may have been a bit tough for some players.

EA has released some interesting statistics from the recent Star Wars action game, that seems to confirm that more players lowered the game’s difficulty than raised it.

The default difficulty, Jedi Knight, was the most popular, played by 52.5% of players. Meanwhile, Story Mode and Jedi Padawan made up 29.5% of the player numbers combined. The harder difficulties, Jedi Master and Jedi Grand Master were much more rare, making for a combined total of just 18%.

Only 4% of players played Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on its hardest difficulty.

Hilariously, 489 players were defeated by Rick the Door Technician – a sort-of boss that appears early in the game who is felled just as easily as a regular Scout Trooper.

I mean, come on. Seriously, guys?

Conversely, over 9 million players have been defeated by Rancor, while the most popular lightsaber stance is single-handed (31%) followed closely by dual wield (29%).

The grand total of enemies defeated? That’s an impressive 2.8 billion with more kills racking up every day. Quite a body count for a Jedi.

Surprisingly, the most popular lightsaber color is white – a style not seen in the movies. Given that Cal begins the game with a blue blade, it’s surprising to see players opt for a white blade over the more traditional blue or green.

IGN’s review of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor gave it 9/10 and said: “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes what Fallen Order achieved and wall-runs with it, then double-jumps and air-dashes straight into an epic lightsaber battle. It’s a sequel that does virtually everything better than the original – which was already an exceptional Star Wars game. If Respawn makes one more like this it’ll complete the best Star Wars trilogy in 30 years, hands down.”
