BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five Mid-South Conference Teams are ranked in the eighth regular season NAIA Football First Down PlayBook Top 25 Poll, the NAIA announced on Monday.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) sits atop the poll with 444 points and 18 of the 19 first-place votes. The Blue Raiders are 8-0 this season and 5-0 in Bluegrass Division play. Lindsey Wilson hosts Campbellsville (Ky.) on Saturday.

Reinhardt (Ga.) remained at No. 8.  The Eagles earned 325 points in the poll and are 7-2 this season and 4-0 in the Appalachian Division. Reinhardt hosts Union on Saturday.

Keiser (Fla.) remained at  No. 12 after earning 256 points in the poll. The Seahawks are 6-2 and 3-1 in the Sun Division. Keiser hosts St. Thomas (Fla.) on Saturday.

Georgetown (Ky.) moved up five spots to No. 16.  The Tigers earned 173 points in the poll and are 6-2 this season and 3-2 in the Bluegrass Division. Georgetown hosts Cumberlands (Ky.) on Saturday.

Bethel (Tenn.) fell one spot to No. 23.  The Wildcats earned 51 points in the poll. Bethel is 6-3 with a 3-2 record in the Bluegrass Division and host Thomas More on Saturday.

Faulkner (Ala), St. Thomas (Fla.), Southeastern (Fla.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) are all mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll. Faulkner and St. Thomas each received 20 points in the poll while Southeastern earned seven and Cumberlands had three.

Northwestern (Iowa) sits in second with 426 points while Morningside (Iowa) is third with 411 points and the final first-place vote. Grand View (Iowa) and Baker (Kan.) round out the top 5 with 393 and 371 points, respectively.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences.

The next regular season poll is scheduled to come out on Monday, November 8.
