The 22nd running of the FIFA WORLD CUP competition is scheduled for this  2022 World cup. It is one of the biggest tournaments in the world that is played every four years. This competition has had many betting trends to follow, just as you would with NFL betting trends

The competition will commence from the 21st of November to the 18th of December, consisting of 32 different countries, and will be held in Qatar. In the history of the World cup, this will be the first time it will be held in the Arab world. Also, it will be the second time it will be held entirely in Asia since the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.

After this year’s World cup, the next one will involve 48 teams for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The 2022 World cup will commence late in November to mid of December because of the intense heat in Qatar, making it the first tournament that will not be held in May, June, or July as it has always been. It also reduced the number of days, this time around 28 days.

However, out of the 32 nations that qualified to play the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, 24 competed at the previous tournament in Russia in 2018. Qatar is now the only team in the tournament to make their debut in the Fifa World cup, as host since Italy in 1934.
