Sky Glass might be trying to shake up the telly market with a new way to watch content via the internet but Samsung isn’t going down without a fight. The technology company is renowned for making some of the best televisions on the planet and right now they are being made a whole lot more affordable to own. Samsung is currently offering some mega-discounts on its best TVs with prices dropped by as much as £500.
If you weren’t already aware, Samsung’s all-new Neo QLED TVs were revealed at the beginning of January with the firm bringing an almost bezel-free design and an improved display that makes content appear brighter, more precise, richer in colour and blacks that even darker. Audio also gets a boost with Object Tracking Sound Pro tucked behind the screen which dynamically corresponds to the movement of objects on the screen. This basically means that as a plane flies from left to right in a movie, the sound will move in perfect sync across the display.
There was another important change this year as Samsung has gotten rid of the need for batteries in the remote.
All of the latest channel changers now features a solar power pack that can be boosted via sunlight or the lamps in your living room.
