Fortnite To Reportedly Debut First-Person Mode in Chapter 4 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is out now, with all the new features that the developers at Epic Games have teased over the past few days.

Titled “Mega”, the second season of Chapter 4 brings the flair of cyberpunk and anime to the Fortnite Island. The new update sees the game turning a quarter of the map into a futuristic world, with locations like Kenjutsu Crossing, Knotty Nets, and Mega City adding neon imagery to Fortnite.

Along with the new POIs, the game also has new weapons and a Battle Pass that’s filled with cosmetic goodness. However, that’s not all, it’s been rumored that the game might soon introduce a first-person mode.

Last week, prior to the release of Chapter 4 Season 2, prominent Fortnite leakers HYPEX and ShiinaBR have claimed that they’ve received news about Epic Games adding a first-person mode. While the two leakers claimed that it would arrive with the new season, the game has yet to introduce this new feature.

In the end, it’s very likely that Fortnite developers will introduce the new feature later this season. It’s unclear how the mode might work out, as it will be a nightmare to use in matches featuring builds. However, at the same time, in modes like Zero Build, the first-person mode could bring a breath of fresh air to Fortnite.
