NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top 25 Poll
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Five Mid-South Conference Teams are ranked in the ninth regular season NAIA Football First Down PlayBook Top 25 Poll, the NAIA announced on Monday.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) sits atop the poll with 444 points and 18 of the 19 first-place votes. The Blue Raiders are 9-0 this season and 6-0 in Bluegrass Division play. Lindsey Wilson travels to Cumberlands (Ky.) on Saturday.
Reinhardt (Ga.) moved up one spot to No. 7. The Eagles earned 342 points in the poll and are 8-2 this season and 5-0 in the Appalachian Division. Reinhardt travels to Kentucky Christian on Saturday.
Keiser (Fla.) remained at No. 12 after earning 264 points in the poll. The Seahawks are 7-2 and 4-1 in the Sun Division. Keiser travels to Ave Maria (Fla.) on Saturday.
Georgetown (Ky.) fell one spot to No. 17. The Tigers earned 176 points in the poll and are 7-2 this season and 4-2 in the Bluegrass Division. Georgetown hosts Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday.
Faulkner (Ala) and Southeastern (Fla.) are both mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll. Faulkner earned seven points in the poll while Southeastern earned six.
Morningside (Iowa) sits in second with 427 points and the final first-place vote while Grand View (Iowa) is third with 404 points. Northwestern (Iowa) and Kansas Wesleyan round out the top five of the poll with 391 and 377 points, respectively.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences.
The final regular season poll is scheduled to come out on Sunday, November 14.
