Garena has revealed details about Free Fire’s Diwali 2021 celebrations, which include new game modes, cosmetics, events, and more. As part of the festive season, Free Fire will get several Diwali-themed items that can be earned by completing various in-game missions. Along with these, log-in rewards during the Diwali season will be festive themed. Players who log in daily for 7 days will receive a grand prize. Garena is also running the Come Home to Free Fire campaign with a new trailer for Dil, Dosti, Diwali video.
Free Fire Diwali 2021 events, game modes
Free Fire will have multiple games modes and events to celebrate Diwali. The full list of Diwali events and game modes is mentioned below:
1. Lone Wolf mode (from October 25th)
The new Lone Wolf mode can be played solo or in duos. In this mode, players will battle against each other in a knockout format and the player/duo that wins highest number of rounds emerges victorious.
2. Charge the Portal to Come Home (from October 25th)
For Charge the Portal to Come Home, players need to complete daily missions and reach a set milestone to unlock different tiers of rewards. Players get to choose rewards at each tier including 4 Legendary gun skins and 5 pets.
3. Pick Your Diwali Hampers (from October 29th)
In this event, players can pick their preferred set of rewards and sign in every day for 7 days to get new rewards.
4. Rang De Rangoli (from October 29th)
The Rang De Rangoli mode will allow players to unlock the Desi Gangster bundle. Garena hasn’t revealed any specific details about this mode yet, but it will most likely feature making a rangoli.
5. Countdown to Diwali (from November 1st)
Countdown to Diwali event will reward a special surfboard called the Light Surfer. Garena will share more details about this event soon.
6. Claim free Magic Cube (on November 4th)
Garena is giving away a free Magic Cube to all Free Fire players. Magic Cube can be used to redeem a Magic Cube bundle from the store. Click here to know how you claim the free Magic Cube.
7. Diwali Party (on November 4th)
The Diwali Party event will feature the new Greeting emote. Players will need to play Free Fire for 60 minutes on November 4th.
8. After Party Gifts (from November 5th)
Free Fire will offer even more rewards in exchange of new in-game currency.
