Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
To kick things off, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have one of its big releases of 2023 in the third and final Guardians of the Galaxy film from Jason Gunn.
The film sees the return of the gang of misfits, as they lead a new life on the planet of Knowhere. Vol. 3 centres around Bradley Cooper’s Rocket and his past, as the team tries their best to protect him with a new adventure that you don’t want to miss out on.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 releases in theatres on May 5, 2023.
Afwaah
Afwaah is an upcoming Hindi-language drama film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bhumi Pednekar.
The film revolves around the story of the two characters played by the duo, as they find themselves embroiled in a rumour circulating in social media.
Afwaah releases in theatres on May 5.
Beau is Afraid
Ari Aster of Midsommar and Hereditary fame is back again, with a new and twisted project in Beau is Afraid.
The film stars Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, and it has polarised critics and general audiences following its global release last month.
Beau is Afraid arrives in Indian theatres on May 12.
Love Again
Love Again is an upcoming romantic comedy-drama film lead by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in leading roles.
The film follows the story involving Jonas’ character coping with her fiancé’s death, when she decides to send texts to the latter’s old phone, which has been reassigned as the work phone for Heughan’s character.
Love Again makes its way to theatres on May 12.
Fast X
Fast X is all set to be the eleventh and penultimate film in the iconic racing-inspired action film franchise. The upcoming film sees the return of Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto alongside a slew of characters, who make up his “family.”
The film also sees a new antagonist in Dante Reyese, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes, who was the main antagonist of 2011’s Fast Five.
Fast X races its way to theatres on May 19.
The Little Mermaid
As part of its recent flurry of live-action remakes, Disney will soon showcase the adaptation of the 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid.
The film follows mermaid princess Ariel, played by Halle Bailey, as she strikes a deal with sea witch Ursula to make her a human after falling in love with human prince, Eric.
The Little Mermaid releases in theatres on May 26.
