Galaxy S24 Ultra could ditch telephoto snapper – Smartprix

While a majority of the audience is using the Samsung Galaxy S22 series devices and waiting for the Galaxy S23 series to make its debut, rumour mills have something completely different to offer. The latest rumours are regarding the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra which will be the successor of the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is being said that the smartphone Galaxy S23 Ultra, along with other phones from the same series, will launch on February one.

Talking about the rumour, tipster Ice Universe has suggested that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will ditch the telephoto sensors that are being used in its predecessors. Speculations are that the Samsung offering will ship with a completely new concept. It has not been mentioned by the tipster which telephoto sensors will be replaced. However, the high chances are that it will either be the periscope zoom sensor or the 3x zoom module.

A sneak peek into the details

Apart from that, it is also in the air that the primary shooter of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will remain identical to what we are going to see in the Galaxy S23 ultra. If not, then we can see minute changes in terms of the primary sensors, definitely not major ones. To sum the same up, we can say that Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will bring better zoom quality and the Galaxy S24 Ultra will bring some of the decent technological advances.

A major change in terms of the main sensor is already happening in 2023 with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, yes, I am talking about the 200MP primary shooter. It already seems that Samsung is going to cash on the 200MP primary snapper in 2024 with the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

However, nothing mentioned above can be confirmed officially as of now from Samsung’s side. So, all the readers are suggested to take the information with a truckload of salt as anything can happen at the time of the official launch.
