Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A53 in India. The South Korean tech giant is now expected to launch two new smartphones at the Galaxy A-series event to be held today (March 29). The company is likely to announce the Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A33 5G phones at today’s event. You can watch the latest Galaxy A series event on the company’s official YouTube channel. The event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM and Samsung has already published the link to the event’s live stream. The chances of the two new smartphones being launched today are high as they were recently launched in the global market.
Samsung Galaxy A73, Galaxy A33 5G price and availability
Considering last year’s pricing, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G could be launched at around Rs 25,000 in India, while the Galaxy A73 may come under the price segment of Rs 40,000. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy A72 is available at a price of Rs 34,999 and the Galaxy A52 has a starting price of Rs 26,499.
Samsung Galaxy A73 expected specifications
Samsung Galaxy A73 is expected to sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC (the Samsung Galaxy A33 smartphone may come with an Exynos chipset).
It may feature a quad rear camera setup that will include — a 108MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 5MP depth sensor and another 5MP macro sensor. The handset is also expected to house a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. This smartphone may ship with Android 12 out-of-the-box.
Samsung Galaxy A33 expected specifications
Samsung Galaxy A33 may feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This handset is likely to be powered by the Exynos 1280 5G chipset, backed by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
This smartphone is also expected to house a quad rear camera setup that will include — a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. It will come with a single punch-hole display design that will feature the 13MP selfie shooter. This device may pack a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, but the 25W charger may not be included in the box and buyers might need to get it separately. This smartphone may also run on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
