Christelle D’cruz talked about her unexpected journey into game development, which began when she met Roby, who was initially creating educational games. They collaborated and ventured into making educational and multiplayer games. D’cruz also revealed the sources of inspiration for the game’s artwork.

Regarding the birth of Battle Stars, D’cruz recounted that it originally started as an extra game mode within their title Silly Royale called Silly Wars. Because fans enjoyed this mode so much, the team decided to transform it into a standalone game, known today as Battle Stars, boasting over 5 million players.

Roby John explained that the team aimed to create a quick battle royale game because it’s the most popular game type in India. He also shared how they teamed up with content creator Techno Gamerz for Battle Stars. Techno Gamerz, also known as Ujjwal Chaurasia, is the game’s public figure and even has a character in the game named Techno, resembling him. John praised Techno’s dedication to gamers and the valuable gameplay input he offers as a regular player of the game.

SuperGaming has plans to introduce Indus characters into Battle Stars soon, as per John. He also shared an incident when asked about the strangest feedback the team received. It involved four kids who stood outside the studio for two days, eager to play the game. John reached out to their mothers, informing them of their children’s location and seeking permission to let the kids play the game.
