Garmin announces Instinct Crossover series, price starts at Rs 55,990 – Times of India

Garmin has unveiled its Instinct Crossover series of multisport smartwatches in India. The new Garmin smartwatch sports a hybrid look with a full dial display and analog watch hands. Garmin Instinct Crossover supports both Android and Apple iOS devices. The Garmin smartwatch comes in two variants: Instinct Crossover priced at Rs 55,990 and Instinct Crossover Solar priced at Rs 61,990. The key difference between the two smartwatches is that Crossover Solar comes with solar charging. Additionally, the solar variant comes in ‘Graphite’ colour, whereas the non-solar variant comes in ‘Black’ colour.
The company claims that Instinct Crossover is the ‘only’ hybrid GPS multisport smartwatch with analog watch-like features. Moreover, it claims the watch’s battery can last up to 70 days in smartwatch mode. Both smartwatch variants will be available starting January 20 in both physical and digital stores. Garmin Brand Store, Helios Watch Store, Just in Time, and Sports stores are the brick-and-mortar retailers. On the flipside, digital sales will be available through Amazon, Tata CLiQ, Tata Luxury, Synergizer, Flipkart, Nykaa.com.

Garmin Instinct Crossover features
Apart from the aforementioned, the new watch comes with features such as New Revo Drive technology. This technology makes sure the analog time is accurate in ‘the harshest activities and environments.’ Touted as a watch ‘engineered for endurance,’ it offers thermal, shock, and water resistance (10 ATM or up to 100m).
The watch also comes with ‘infinite battery life’ via solar charging in the Crossover Solar variant. This variant is also advertised with a 70-day battery life when using ‘advanced connected features.’ On the other hand, the non-solar variant offers 30 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and over 110 hours in GPS mode.
Coming to the sensors, the watch enables 24×7 monitoring and recording of metrics such as heart rate, stress, and sleep. Its wellness features include Advanced Sleep Monitoring, Sleep Score, and Health Monitoring. The device’s fitness suite comprises things like VO2 Max, Pulse Ox2, Fitness Age, Training Status/Load/Effect, HRV Status, and Recovery Time.
