Gary Lineker makes tongue-in-cheek MOTD comment after Aston Villa vs Burnley is postponed

Gary Lineker took to social media on Saturday afternoon to make a tongue-in-cheek comment about the Match of the Day running order after Aston Villa’s Premier League clash with Burnley was postponed. The clash at Villa Park was cancelled just hours before kick-off after a COVID-19 outbreak in the hosts’ camp.

The cancellation means Arsenal’s trip to Leeds at 5.30pm is the only Premier League game scheduled to go ahead on Saturday.

Six top-flight games have now been cancelled this weekend because of the virus, with three clashes set to take place on Sunday.
