Genshin Impact 3.6 release date, downtime, Banners, Events and MORE
Genshin Impact fans are counting down to the release of update 3.6. Genshin Impact 3.6 has an April 12 release date on PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. The good news is that the update will add lots of new content to the free-to-play adventure game. The bad news, however, is that update 3.6 will be accompanied by an extended period of server downtime, which runs for a whopping five hours! Genshin Impact 3.6 server downtime kicks off at 11pm BST (on April 11), and is expected to finish at 4am BST UK time (on April 12).
The good news is that Genshin Impact update 3.6 can be pre-installed ahead of schedule, so download now if you want to access the content once the servers are back online.
In terms of new content, update 3.6 will introduce a variety of new and returning Banners, including the ‘The Moongrass’ Enlightenment’ Banner for Nahida, and the ‘Twirling Lotus’ Banner for Nilou – both in Phase One.
Phase two of update 3.6 includes Banner events for new characters Baizhu and Kaveh, as well as the returning ‘Adrift in the Harbor’ Banner for Ganyu.
Elsewhere, update 3.6 introduces new areas of the Sumeru region to explore, including the Gavireh Lajavard location and the Realm of Farakhkert.
That’s on top of new domains such as the Molten Iron Fortress, Somalata Inland Sea, and Purification Spring.
There’s also the Jadefall’s Splendour catalyst, which can be obtained from Wishes.
New Artefact sets, meanwhile, include the Nymph’s Dream and Vourukasha’s Glow.
Genshin Impact update 3.6 also adds the Layla Ever Silent Stars Hangout event, as well as two new bosses and more enemies.
