Genshin Impact: Cyno, Nilou and Candace Announced For Version 3.1

Genshin Impact Version 3.0 The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings went live on August 24 and with it came the very hotly-anticipated region of Sumeru and the final seventh element, Dendro.

The new update also saw the addition of characters such as Dendro 5-star bow user Tighnari, Dendro 4-star bow user Collei, and Electro 4-star claymore user Dori.

HoYoverse surprised fans again by revealing details about three characters with their classic drip marketing strategy. Even though Version 3.0 just went live, we already have the developers officially announcing characters that are going to be available in the next update, Version 3.1. This update should begin on September 28, 2022.

HoYoverse revealed 5-star characters Cyno and Nilou which we already saw glimpses of in teasers prior to the release of Version 3.0. But now, the developers have also revealed the 4-star character Candace, which fans had heard a lot about but hadn’t even seen a single glimpse of.

The announcements also officially confirm that Cyno has an Electro Vision, Nilou has Hydro, and Candace also possesses a Hydro Vision.

Not much is revealed about these characters other than this, however, the official splash arts show Cyno and Candace wielding what appear to be polearms so it wouldn’t be a long shot to assume these two upcoming characters are going to be polearm users.

As for Version 3.0, the banners in Phase I include Tighnari and Zhongli, and Phase II will feature Ganyu and Sangonomiya Kokomi. New weapons include Hunter’s Path, which is a 5-star bow, and End of the Line, a 4-star bow.

New Artifacts such as Deepwood Memories and Gilded Dreams are also added in the update, aiding in building Dendro characters that will soon inundate the game with future updates.
