Genshin Impact Fans Call For Ayaka and Kazuha to Rerun in v2.6

There has been much speculation about the potential Banner Run or Reruns for v2.6: while HoYoverse has not revealed much, players are expecting to see Kamisato Ayato headlining v2.6 alongside the reveal of a new region: The Chasm.

Recently on both Twitter and Reddit, two Genshin characters have been trending: Kaedehara Kazuha and Kamisato Ayaka, in the middle of the current Yae Miko banner. Yae Miko should be in the spot light right now and supposed to be popular, but fans seem to think otherwise. This is probably due to massive rumors circulating around Genshin version 2.6, and that HoYoverse will release Kamisato Ayato soon.

Perhaps many players are expecting Ayaka to be released alongside Ayato as a rerun character. The DPS/Sub-DPS potential of having both Ayato and Ayaka in your team, is a strong team composition and I can definitely see the appeal of having both siblings having back-to-back banners. Additionally, Kazuha is rumored to make a re-run appearance as the most popular character used in The Spiral Abyss. Both are Kaedehara Kazuha and Kamisato Ayaka loveable, fan-favorites and their banner combinations are actually quite strong.

The v2.6 Update is not expected to be released until mid March 2022, but we’re already seeing several leaks making their way out through to the player base. Amongst these leaks, there is one rerun we are all looking to see confirmed soon: Kazuha, one of the most popular 5-star characters on the final floors of Spiral Abyss. There has been no rerun for Kazuha since his initial debut in the game, or at least until the v2.6 Update apparently.

Fans have been clamoring for a Kazuha Rerun ever since his DPS potential in the Spiral Abyss had been revealed. There is a chance that HoYoverse may choose to push back the release date of Kazuha’s rerun to v3.0, as there are already new characters expected to be revealed in the run-up to 2.6 Update, such as Ayato, Kuki Shinobu, Yelan and the much-awaited release of Dendro characters Yaoyao and Baizhu.
