The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) recently announced a major collaboration with India’s biggest multiplex chain in INOX Leisure Ltd. with the latter holding the title of an exclusive cinema partner.

With Esports continuing to grow at a rapid pace, the ESFI revealed this unique partnership involving the multiplex chain earlier today, which would help improve the experience of some of the country’s biggest tournaments and matches.

As the federation’s exclusive cinema partner, INOX now has the opportunity to showcase many matches to fans around the country, which will tremendously help create a fanbase of Esports in regions where they it hasn’t made a mark yet. With INOX covering almost every major region in India, the ESFI can now easily reach the masses to create waves in places they haven’t before.

Following this groundbreaking partnership, Alok Tandon, the CEO of INOX Leisure Limited showcased his excitement for this venture and he gave us an insight on how the multiplex chain will play a major part in establishing Esports presence in over 71 cities, thanks to INOX’s 159 multiplexes and 670 screens.

Vinod Tiwari, the President of the ESFI noted the golden opportunity that the federation has with INOX, as the latter can now provide grassroots level support for Esports, and along with that, with the Asian Games set to begin in a few months, the partnership will bear fruits in the development of the players that will take part in the tournament.
