Goblin Slayer Author Starts New Manga Series

Goblin Slayer’s author, Kumo Kagyu, is starting a new manga series. The author is known for creating the popular light novel series as well as its two side-stories. Now, the author is working on a new manga called Moscow 2160.

The new manga series will also have a dark tone just like Kagyu’s previous work, as the story is described to be about a “dystopian cold war” set in Russia. The manga will be dealing with some heavy subject matter as it is going to serialise in the Big Gangan manga imprint, which carries seinen manga. So fans who want more Goblin Slayer-like manga can look forward to this.

Apart from the title and a basic setting, we don’t have any other details regarding Moscow 2160. We just know that it will deal with the themes of war and politics just like Goblin Slayer did. Expect a lot of blood, gore, and other explicit material in this manga as well.

Even the artwork shows what appears to be a main character wielding a scary mask. Kagyu will be writing the series and Sekine Koutarou will be responsible for the art. The artist is known for working on Blame!, Ninja Slayer Kills, and I Was Reincarnated with OP Invincibility, so I’ll Beat ’em Up My Way as an Action-Adventurer. Kannatsuki Noboru, who did the character designs for Goblin Slayer, will join Kagyu for Moscow 2160 as well.
