God of War Modder Makes FIFA Super Stars Messi and Mbappe Battle It Out in the 2018 Santa Monica Studios title

The FIFA World Cup 2022 has come to a close with a bang, as fans received one of the best World Cup finals in history. The battle between the two PSG teammates, Messi and Mbapppe, was a battle to remember. Spotted by Eurogamer, a YouTuber named Omega Fantasy has released a video of modded gameplay for God of War 2018. This modded gameplay consists of Mbappe and Messi battling it out instead of Kratos and Baldur.

The mod is not just your everyday one, as the modder has put in as many details as he could. First of all, players should know that Mbappe plays the role of Kratos and Messi plays the role of Baldur. Both of them are wearing the home jerseys of their respective nations. Another interesting detail is that Mbappe uses the World Cup final ball to attack, instead of Kratos’ trusty Leviathan Axe.

Other than that, the scene plays out exactly as it did in the game and Mbappe batters Messi into the ground constantly, but he always gets back up. The quest markers on the top have also been altered, to provide objectives with a World Cup theme. Many fans have stated that this probably how the duo would meet again in the PSG locker room once Ligue 1 resumes.

The battle ends as it did in the end, with Mbappe snapping Messi’s neck, but we all know that he survives this.
