God of War Ragnarok Voice Actor Hints at Sequel at PAX East 2023
God of War fans were in for a surprise at this year’s PAX East 2023, as the voice actor for Tyr in God of War: Ragnarok, Ben Prendergast, dropped a hint about the upcoming sequel during a panel discussion.
The panel at the event was originally set to be a retrospective on the God of War franchise, but fans were excited to hear from panel member Prendergast about his experience working on the game.
Midway through the panel, Prendergast casually mentioned that “it isn’t the last you’ve seen of Tyr,” which was seen as a hint toward the character returning for a sequel.

The panel’s host seemed to try and steer the conversation away from spoilers, according to those who attended the panel. But Prendergast did reveal that he knows a little about the next game in the series, although he is bound by an NDA and can’t reveal any specifics.
Fans are already speculating if there is a DLC or spin-off in the works. It is important to note that Prendergast’s comment doesn’t reveal too much about a potential sequel. He himself mentioned that he only knows a little about the sequel, so nothing is set in stone yet. Fans will have to wait for more official announcements from Santa Monica Studios before they can truly begin to speculate about what to expect from God of War Ragnarok.
