Google One VPN is now available for Mac and Windows through new desktop apps. This follows Google One VPN’s availability on Apple iOS earlier this year. The Google One VPN masks users’ traffic and IP address, reducing online tracking, and providing protection on public Wi-Fi and other unsecured networks. The company says that it “will never use your VPN connection to track, collect, or sell your online activity.” Google One VPN is available on Premium plans in 22 countries across the world. How can one get Google One VPN
Google One VPN is available with Google One’s Premium plans that offer 2TB or higher storage. Apart from VPN access, the premium plan includes storage for Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos. In India, these Premium plans are available at Rs 650 per month and Rs 6,500 per year onwards. Currently, the VPN service is available in 22 countries across the world. While the Premium plans and their other benefits are available in India, the VPN service is not.

Can users change their IP address using Google VPN
To allow websites to show the right content for your region, VPN by Google One will assign you an IP address based on your current region. However, websites can’t use this IP address to determine your precise location. You will not have the option to change your IP address region. VPN by Google One is available in select countries/regions and is included for Google One members with plans of 2TB of Google storage and up.

Will Google VPN work for users in other countries
If a user has a VPN by Google One turned on and their home country/region has support for Google One VPN, then it will work when they travel internationally to many additional countries/regions.
