Last month Google confirmed the launch of its next in the Pixel 6 series of smartphones. Google Pixel 6a is expected to arrive in the Indian market in the upcoming months. Although Pixel 6a’s design and some other details were revealed by Google itself during the I/O 2022, now a hands-on video has surfaced online which compares Pixel 6a to Pixel 6 Pro and reveals its complete design and specs.
A Malaysian YouTuber has posted a video revealing Pixel 6a’s design and specs. According to the video, the Pixel 6a has a design similar to the Pixel 6 Pro. It has a horizontal camera bar with dual camera lenses. Pixel 6a appears to have a glossy plastic rear panel as well. The right edge features a power button and volume rockers whereas the left edge houses SIM card slots. At the bottom of the Pixel 6a is the USB Type-C port and 2 speakers. No 3.5mm headphone jack can be seen on the device so using wired headphones is not possible.
As for the selfie camera at the front, the Google Pixel 6a has a punch-hole design with the selfie lens. The front screen has very thin bezels and there is an under-display fingerprint sensor as well. The sensor appears to be very responsive according to the video.
The contents of the Google Pixel 6a box include Pixel 6a, Type-C cable, USB A to Type-C adapter, SIM ejector tool, and a user manual.
Google Pixel 6a Specs
The Google Pixel 6a will offer a 6.1-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device will run Android 12 and be powered by the Google Tensor chipset. The smartphone will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Pixel 6a will be 5G capable and have dual-band Wi-Fi support, NFC, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, and more. It will pack a 4360-4410mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Talking about the camera department, the Google Pixel 6a will sport a pair of 12MP cameras on the back. One of the sensors will have OIS while the other one will be ultrawide. There is an 8MP selfie sensor at the front.

Google Pixel 6a Launch Timeline & Expected Price
The Google Pixel 6a will launch on Google Store on July 21 and will be available in the US from July 28. In India, Google Pixel 6a will launch by July. It will cost approximately 449 dollars (Rs. 35,120) and will come in Black, Mint Green, and Gray/Silver colors. In India too, the Google Pixel 6a is expected to cost under Rs. 40,000.
