Google Pixel 7 series might launch on Oct 13th, Pre-orders on Oct 6th

In a span of a few months, many flagship phones will debut including the ones from Apple as well as the Pixel 7 series from Google. The upcoming Pixel 7 and 7 Pro series was briefly teased at the Google I/O conference back in May 2022. Cut to now, the series is expected to release on October 13th as per tipster Jon Prosser. Just like any other leak, this information isn’t stemming from Google but rather from other sources. Read the story ahead.

Google Pixel 7 Series is coming on October 13

According to the timelines referenced by Prosser, the series will make its official launch on October 13th and will be available for sale on the same day. Its pre-order is expected to commence on October 6th giving interested buyers enough time to book it and get their hands on the models even before someone else gets it shipped.

Google Pixel 7 series high-resolution renders are doing the rounds of the internet giving a peek into what both the models will look like. Both the models have an aluminum frame wrapped around the back with a matte finish and with a height of its horizontally aligned camera setup housed in a pill-shaped camera cutout for the base Pixel 7 while the 7 Pro gets an additional cam onboard.

There’s an advanced Tensor SoC onboard the upcoming series so that will be a blast. Apart from that, we have Android 13 right out of the box which is a no-brainer. Pixel phones get the major Android upgrades before any other devices and that too for a couple of generations rather than maxing it at two or three years as other OEMs do.

According to previous reports, the phones have a dimension similar to that of their predecessors. The Pixel 7 is expected to get a 2400×1080 pixels resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate while the Pixel 4 Pro gets a beautiful 3120×1440 pixels resolution clubbed with a 120Hz notch.

Watch out for more updates as we will share once they arrive right here.
