Google Pixel Buds Pro to soon receive the customisable equaliser and audio presets – Times of India
When Pixel Buds Pro was launched, Google confirmed that a couple of features like 360-degree audio support, customisable equaliser, etc will be added via a software update by the end of 2022. It seems that Google is now gearing up to add those features to the Pixel Buds Pro as promised. 9to5Google has decompiled the latest version of the Pixel Buds app and has found a couple of hints about the upcoming features that Google confirmed at the launch of the Pixel Buds Pro.
9to5Google has reported that the codes of the latest 1.0.474476083 version of the Pixel Buds app has started rolling out on Google Play Store and it contains references to the upcoming equaliser feature.
The codecs suggest that the app will let users adjust the equaliser with five bands setup that includes ‘Low Bass, Bass, Mid, Treble and Upper Treble. The Buds app will have the bands placed in a horizontal manner and it will also include seven preset sound settings. The app codes reveal that the app will offer Balanced, Clarity, Default, Heavy bass, Last saved, Light bass and Vocal boost preset options.
Apart from that, the app will also offer a volume-based slider that will allow users to set the different volume levels for each ear.
While the addition of an equaliser is a much-awaited feature for Pixel Buds Pro. It is the Spatial audio that Google announced earlier that is something most people are waiting for. It is worth mentioning that 9to5Google hasn’t found any sign of Spatial Audio in the latest version of the Pixel Buds app.
