Google Pixel Fold allegedly spotted in public ahead of the official launch

Google Pixel Fold live images

From the images, we only get to see the cover screen of the foldable, while the actual unfolded large screen is not visible. The design appears to be similar to the OPPO Find N2, with a compact cover screen and a large folding display. The Google Pixel Fold live images also reveal the person watching a video.

This is the first time we are seeing the Google Pixel Fold live and we expect to come across more such images in the near future. The phone will be available in Black colour but there could be other options as well.

Google Pixel Fold earlier leaks

According to earlier leaked details, the Pixel Fold is expected to come with a 7.57-inch foldable screen and a 5.78-inch cover screen that should be made by Google. The foldable is rumoured to come with a 4,700mAh battery and boot Android 13 OS out of the box. The recently leaked renders have hinted to us what to expect.

Google is rumoured to continue using the rear camera strap over the flat back panel to give it a distinguished look. The Pixel Fold is likely to have triple camera sensors, which probably should be the ones used on the Pixel 7 Pro. The top bezel on the main folding panel should house the front camera sensor, the same could be the case with the cover screen. We can speculate the Pixel Fold could be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset that is present on the Pixel 7 Pro.

The Google Pixel Fold is rumoured to cost around $1,800 once it launches but we can’t say for certain. We should learn more details about the Pixel Fold at the I/O 2023 conference.
