Google Pixel Tablet launched globally: price, specifications

Google Pixel Tablet price
The Google Pixel Tablet is priced at $499 (around Rs. 40,900) for the 128GB model and $599 (approx Rs. 49,100) for the 256GB version. The Tablet comes in Hazel, Porcelain and Rose colours. The company offers various accessories, including the Pixel Tablet Case and a speck StandyShell case.
The tablet is available to order via Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The tablet will be on sale from June 20th.
Google Pixel Tablet specifications
- Display: The Pixel Tablet sports a 10.95-inch WQXGA display with a 1600 x 2560 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio 276 PPI, 500nits brightness, antifouling coating, and USI 2.0 touch pen compatibility.
- Processor: The Pixel tablet will be powered by the Google Tensor 2 SoC, which powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. There is also a Titan M2 security chip.
- RAM and storage: The tablet packs 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
- OS: The Google Pixel Tablet runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
- Rear and Front Camera: The Pixel Tablet has an 8MP camera both on the front and back.
- Others: The Google Pixel Tablet has quad speakers, 3 microphones for calls, recording, and Google Assistant, and a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.
- Connectivity: Google Pixel Tablet rocks Wi-Fi 6 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, and a 4-pin accessory connector.
- Battery: There is a 27Wh battery that is claimed to offer up to 12 hours of video streaming and 15W charging via speaker dock or USB-C charger (sold separately).
Charging speaker dock: The Google Pixel Tablet comes with a charging speaker dock, where the tablet attaches magnetically. The key use case of this is that when you aren’t using the tablet actively, it becomes a smart display or a smart speaker. When you are watching a video or playing music and place the tablet on the dock, it seamlessly transfers the audio to the dock’s speaker.
When the tablet is docked on the speaker, it can show a slideshow of images from Google Photos album and there is also a quick access button to the Google Home app to control smart home devices. The lock screen won’t show any personal information like notifications.
