The Artificial Intelligence scene is getting heated up more and more with every passing day. All the tech tycoons like Microsoft, OpenAI, and others have started relying heavily on AI-based tech. In a recent development, Google is going guns blazing in the arena with the launch of Google Bard, which is a conversation AI service on an experimental basis. According to an official announcement by Google, open access to Bard will be available in a few countries.
The main reason behind making the Bard AI available for the audience is that Google wants to work the general trial and error method to train the AI. In addition, the organization has also said that it will make sure that quality and safety are not compromised in any sense. For the improvement of its systems, Google will be using human feedback and evaluation to make the systems better. In addition, Bard has been created with guardrails like capping the maximum number of exchanges in a dialogue in such a way that it can resist spam and misuse.
Google will provide the Bard AI access to the audience with a Google Workspace account. As of now, the Bard AI is only available in the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK). So if you are someone who is not situated in the mentioned places will be supposed to use VPN applications to get to the official website and join the waitlist in the unsupported locations. Nonetheless, the brand has said that it will expand support to more countries and languages in the near future.
The release of Bard AI is not going to be that much of a deal for AI enthusiasts as the launch is only limited to a couple of regions. Most of the people are waiting for the release of the same on a global level so that they can know exactly how it is going to compete with other alternatives like ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing AI.
