Realme GT Neo 5’s base model comes in three RAM and storage options – – 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB – – priced at 2,499 Yuan (roughly Rs 30,430), 2,699 Yuan (roughly Rs 32,865) and 2,899 Yuan (roughly Rs 35, 301), respectively. On the other hand, the top variant which has a 240W charging support comes in RAM and storage variant of 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 1TB priced at 3,199 Yuan (roughly Rs 38,954) and 3,499 Yuan (roughly Rs 42,607) respectively.
Both the smartphone models are currently available for pre-orders in China. The first official sale is scheduled to start on February 15 through online retailers and other channels. Both models of Realme GT Neo 5 will be available in three different colours options – – Black, White, and a Purple.
Realme GT Neo 5: Design
At the back, it has a large camera island and includes a transparent window with LED lighting placed on the right of the camera system. As per official notes, this transparent panel on the back offers users a look at the chipset that powers the smartphone. This window is surrounded by the Halo LED lighting which is RGB enabled and offers 25 different color options to choose from.
Realme GT Neo 5: Features and specifications
Realme GT Neo 5 has a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 2772 x 1240 pixels resolution. The display supports a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage.
Realme GT Neo 5 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS support, 8 MP ultra wide angle lens with Sony IMX355 and a 2 MP macro sensor. The phone’s display houses a 16MP front sensor for selfies and video calls.
The first model is the more affordable 150W variant, which features a larger 5,000mAh battery pack and supports 150W fast wired charging. On the other hand, the more expensive variant is powered by a smaller 4,600mAh battery pack that supports the world’s first 240W fast charging. At the moment, this is the highest charging rate supported by the USB Type C port. According to Realme, the device can charge from 1% battery to 20% in just 80 seconds of charging.
