Guardians of the Galaxy: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy story trailer shows Star-Lord in action – Times of India

After Marvel’s Avengers, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have another Marvel role-playing game in the pipeline featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy. While it was announced earlier this year, the story trailer of the game has just arrived and it shows Peter Quill aka Star-Lord in action.
While the Guardians of the Galaxy are not one of the heavy-hitter superhero teams in the Marvel Universe, the heroes-for-hire are the only ones that have a considerable amount of experience when it comes to things beyond the Earth.
Coming to the story of the game, which as Marvel savants would predict, is set in deep space, in the aftermath of the Galactic War. The team has to contend with the threat of the Universal Church of Truth, an organisation “that promises to bring everything back that was lost in the Galactic War”. Like everything? The good and the bad and the relatively lesser significant things? Turning back the tide of time? Resetting the time would be so enticing for many amongst the races in the Marvel Universe.
Call it a cult, a faith, a High Sparrow of sorts in the Marvel Universe but it is getting bigger, as it spreads its beliefs to more and more worlds. Sure, the entire Galaxy is going to be in trouble. That’s where the team of Star-Lord, Gamorra, Drax, Rocket and Groot comes in. No better time to be the guardians than now. Here is the story trailer.

Did you notice a space dog in the trailer? He’s Cosmo, a telepath and an old friend of Star-Lord’s.
Oh, and if you want, you can preorder the game right now if you want. That would get you the Throwback Guardians Outfit Pack.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy launches October 26, 2021 on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and GeForce NOW streaming service.
