Halo Infinite Forge Might Add Campaign AI As Per Data Leak
New leaks have surfaced, indicating that 343 Industries is planning to introduce several new features to Halo Infinite’s Forge mode. These additions may even incorporate elements from the Campaign AI, a rumour that has been circulating for some time. Furthermore, leaked evidence suggests that 343 may also be working on allowing players to incorporate Firefight mode using the Campaign AI.
Leaker reveals Campaign AI might soon be coming to Forge
The leaker, who goes by the Twitter handle @Surasia_, shared this information. They conducted a thorough search of the current API to locate data related to the Forge mode’s nodegraph. This data includes four spawn methods (Classic, Droppod, Pelican, Phantom) and nine species (such as Grunt, Jackal, Skimmer, Human, and Brute). Additionally, the data contains an extensive list of AI types, including Grunt Conscript, Jackal Freebooter, Skimmer Loyalist, Marine Scout, and Brute Chieftain with turret.
In another tweet, Surasia also mentioned that they discovered boss and fodder rounds in the regular Firefight mode. Firefight is a single-player or cooperative mode that can be played by up to four players. It will be added to Halo Infinite through an update on July 12. Surasia noted that the data includes three difficulty levels for the waves: easy, medium, and hard, along with the inclusion of bosses. Additionally, according to their findings, “waves can also be set to spawn different items like flag poles, allowing for modes like KOTH with Firefight.”
Given that none of this is official, and it’s all just speculation, it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, 343 Industries has mentioned its plans to add Campaign AI to the Forge mode in Halo Infinite. The Forge mode was added to Halo Infinite in beta on November 8, following multiple delays. Therefore, it may take some time before Campaign AI is implemented into Forge, if it happens at all.
