What happened in the first episode of Heavenly Delusion?

In the first episode, we are introduced to a facility where students are studying in a class. We are introduced to two characters, Tokio and Mimihime. As they take a test, a strange question about the “outside of the outside” appears on Tokio’s tablet. Meanwhile, outside of this protected facility, we see two more characters, Maru and Kiruko, who are wandering in search of something and meet armed men. A fight ensues, but Kiruko and Maru manage to defeat them and go to the men’s place to charge Kiruko’s battery of her gun. Kiruko asks about a place called “Heaven,” and one of the men tells them about “Tomato Heaven.”

Back in class, Mimihime tells Tokio about the visions she gets, one of them looking like Tokio, who talk about going beyond the wall. Meanwhile, Maru and Kiruko find an inn to stay at, and the innkeeper warns them about a deadly monster. Kiruko and Maru fall asleep, and a monster appears outside the inn.

Later, Tokio asks the Director about the outside world beyond the facility, and he says that the outside is hell, full of monsters.

What will happen in Heavenly Delusion Episode 2

The synopsis of Heavenly Delusion Episode 2, titled “Confessions of Two” in Japanese, states that after Maru and Kiruko slept at the inn, they wake up to a monster with a bird-like appearance called “Hiruko.” The two of them then fight against Hiruko in the poor visibility of night. Meanwhile, Tokio is still thinking about “the outside of the outside” at school. And an unexpected photo of Mimihime is delivered to Shiro.

Heavenly Delusion Episode 2 will stream on Saturday, April 8, 2023. It will be available on Disney+ Hotstar. The episode will be available at 7:30 PM India Standard Time. While Disney+ is streaming the series globally, it is available on Hulu in the United States.
