The Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters will be available for a test ride from November 10th onwards in major cities. Confirmation for this comes from the Q/A section on Ola Electric’s website. Ola spokesperson has clarified to Live Mint, that the test rides will be scheduled in such a fashion that every customer who has booked the Ola Electric scooters will get a chance to experience the product before paying up the balance amount. The spokesperson also added that they plan to execute deliveries in the promised windows.
The test drive itself will be free of cost however, riders will be required to produce their Driver’s License for verification. Dates and timings for the test drives will be confirmed by Ola Electric employees.

Ola first began taking bookings in August following the launch. The sale for the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro scooters was then scheduled later in September. Ola Electric disclosed that Rs 1,100 crore worth of sales were made during the window of just two days. The sales are set to resume from November 1st. The tag price of the Ola S1 electric scooter is Rs 99,999 while it is Rs 1,29,999 for the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. In cities in Delhi, Maharastra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, the prices for the Ola S1 electric scooter start at Rs 79,999 thanks to subsidies. The price for the Ola S1 Pro is Rs 1,09,999 in Gujarat. The normal Ola S1 comes in five colour options while the pricier Ola S1 Pro electric scooter comes in ten colour options.
