Hogwarts Legacy just released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and the crowd reception for the game is wild. Players are rushing into get a nostalgic hit and be one with the much appreciated Harry Potter universe created by the developers. So much so, that around 500,000 players already purchased the game before its release.

Hogwarts Legacy just doesn’t have a beautiful world, but a wonderful score that makes things even more authentic. The team has already released two albums from the game, the first being The Hogwarts Legacy: Original Video Game Soundtrack and the second, Hogwarts Legacy: Study Themes from the Original Video Game. Both the albums consists of all the background music that can be heard when exploring through the game.

Redditor finds overpowered weapon in Hogwarts Legacy

Through a recent post on r/HarryPotterGame subreddit by u/CumboJumbo, we have learned about an extremely strong weapon in the game. Through the Reddit user’s tests, they have learned that having the Herbology 3 trait and Fertiliser talent will increase the Chinese Chomping Cabbage’s efficiency exponentially. By using this build, players will also find a way to always keep their inventory full of this valuable resource.

Hogwarts Legacy PC players can ride Thomas the Tank Engine

In other news, as spotted by PCGamer, modder Showie has created a ThomasBroom mod for Hogwarts Legacy PC players. This mod can be found on Nexus Mods, and it turns the Moon Trimmer broom into the iconic Thomas the Tank Engine. The developer of the mod has stated that the mod has issues with clipping and culling but has been released as it is for now.

Hogwarts Legacy mentions Indian Heritage site Jantar Mantar

Spotted by users on the r/IndianGaming subreddit, something of Indian origins has been mentioned in Hogwarts Legacy. In the game, players will find a letter by Suchrita, addressing her unidentified sister. In that letter, Suchrita speaks about her woes and troubles, and then goes on to mention that she is excited about her trip with the recipient to Jantar Mantar later this year.

Moreover, PlayStation has just announced a new limited edition controller for Hogwarts Legacy. It is the DualSense Revelio Controller, the entire controller is black and has gold magical accents to it. Hogwarts Legacy the second biggest single player launch on Steam after Cyberpunk 2077

Hogwarts Legacy is now the second-biggest single player launch on Steam, with an all-time peak of 879,308 players on SteamDB (via NicheGamer). This new milestone has beat the former holder of the second position, Fallout 4, which has an all-time peak of 472,962. Hogwarts Legacy now falls short to only one title, Cyberpunk 2077, which has an all-time peak of 1,054,388.
