“Despite the results, I still enjoyed this journey a lot … I was excited when I first stepped onto the stage with lots of spectators cheering, the atmosphere was really great.”
The women’s competition did not go much better for Hong Kong, as B-Girl Lady Banan (Wong Chiu-wai) and B-Girl Lady Little (Chan Ka-yi) scraped by in the preselection, ranking 14th and 15th respectively.
B-Girl Lady Little was up first in the round robin to take on Group B opponents B-Girl Eru of Chinese Taipei, South Korea’s Fresh Bella and B-Girl Ami of Japan, losing to all three with scores of 17-1, 18-0, 18-0.
