House Of The Dragon Story
In the last few scenes of Game Of Thrones Season 8, Daenerys Targaryen destroyed Kings Landing. Now, with House Of The Dragon, we’ll return to a time when the Targaryens ruled with an iron fist—-172 years before the events of the original show. The prequel series will chronicle the history of Daenery’s royal family, the war called ‘Dance Of The Dragons’. We’ll see familiar settings, including King’s Landing, The Red Keep and the symbols of the royal houses.
At the beginning of the House Of The Dragon, an aristocratic council will select Viserys as heir to the throne, the grandson of King Jaeharys Targaryen, over his cousin, Rhaenys. Needless to say, this will lead to enormous conflict and the main players would be Viserys, his brother Daemon (Matt Smith), Visery’s advisor Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), and the Hand Of The King. The other claimant to the throne is Visery’s daughter Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock in the youth and Emma d’Arcy as an adult).
