Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is finally here, which means your next adventure in a galaxy far, far away is underway. This is a sequel to a popular AAA video game, and with that comes the expectation that it’s going to be a longer, more involved story. For better or worse, Respawn meets, or possibly even exceeds, those expectations in its latest globe-trotting Jedi saga. Here’s what you need to know about how long it takes to beat Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
How long is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a sprawling sequel and will take players approximately 20-25 hours to complete its story. As is often the case with games of this size, however, that only begins to tell the full story.
This estimate accounts for someone sticking largely to the critical path and the main story missions. For most players, more exploration will come into play. This means an average playthrough is likely closer to 30-35 hours for players completing the main story plus some (but not all) optional quests and other content. There is a lot of optional content.
There’s so much, in fact, that those playing for GameSpot estimate a completionist’s 100% playthrough would take upwards of 60 hours.
Some of the things that will take up some of your time off the main path include side quests and rumors to investigate, a more expanded garden to cultivate, music tracks to collect for the cantina DJ, and even an auto-battler minigame. It’s a big galaxy out there, and you’ll travel to multiple planets on your adventure. Each one houses plenty of secrets, like stim upgrades, legendary enemies, and essence crystals used for upgrades, so for the player looking to maximize Cal’s strengths and abilities, there’s a lot of work to be done. Of course, according to our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor review, it’ll be worth the effort.
