How to create in-chat Polls on WhatsApp – Times of India
Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out the Polls feature for both Android and iPhone users. The Polls feature previously allowed users to create polls in groups, but the most recent update extends this functionality to personal chats and lets users create polls for one-on-one chat. Here’s how the latest WhatsApp feature works on Android and iOS devices:
WhatsApp Polls feature: How it works
WhatsApp users who received the poll in a personal chat or group can simply tap on the option of their choice to cast their vote. It can be noted that the interface for polls in one-to-one chat and in a group are the same, and users can add up to 12 options to a one-on-one poll. In addition, WhatsApp will automatically update the poll after each vote is cast, and all messages in both group and private chats will be end-to-end encrypted.
