How To Easily Farm Destiny 2 Last Wish Raid’s New Craftable Weapons

Some great Destiny 2’s weapons can be found in The Last Wish raid, and now that the gear has also been added to the weapon crafting pool, it’s a good time to farm so that you can craft your own god-roll. Currently, there’s a great opportunity to build up a supply of these Deepsight weapons in the very first encounter of that raid, and it won’t require too much teamwork to pull off.

The easiest method is to have your team loaded up with linear fusion rifles, with Sleeper Simulant being a good option here, and get ready for the Kalli, The Corrupted boss fight. This is the raid’s first encounter and is fairly straightforward as you’ll have to clear six plates in the room of a Taken Knight influence, and once that is done, Kalli will be vulnerable.

What makes this method so effective is that linear fusion rifles are great for doing precision damage and Kalli takes extra damage from headshots thanks to a critical hit multiplier. One player can use Tractor Cannon to weaken her and everyone else can unload on her with Sleeper Simulant attacks to melt her health bar in seconds. Done correctly, you can take out Kalli in her first phase and reap the rewards. As a reminder, here’s what Kalli can potentially drop once she has been eliminated, some of which have excellent perk combinations:

  • Age-Old Bond (Void auto rifle)
  • Apex Predator (Solar rocket launcher)
  • Chattering Bone (Kinetic pulse rifle)
  • Nation of Beasts (Arc hand cannon)
  • The Supremacy (Kinetic sniper)
  • Techeun Force (Arc fusion rifle)
  • Transfiguration (Kinetic scout rifle)
  • Tyranny of Heaven (Solar bow)

Age-Old Bond and Apex Predator are usually the most sought-after weapons on this list, but it’s the new Deepsight versions that are most desirable here. You can get a closer look at how the encounter plays out in this video from Fallout Plays, and once you’ve completed the boss battle, you can quickly restart it by selecting the Last Wish node in the game director.

With Last Wish being in the rotation this week, right now is an ideal time to repeatedly run this encounter. You’ll need a lot of red-border versions of these weapons to unlock their crafting patterns, which is why repeating the Kalli fight is an optimal strategy for obtaining them. It’s also worth noting that the perk pools on the Last Wish weapons have been expanded, so even if you have a version that you like, it might be worth seeking out a new one. This is a 1600 power level encounter as well, so you won’t need to infuse any of your gear for the Kalli fight.

As a reminder, Season 21 has introduced a new method to craft those weapons that you want, as new items will allow the Deepsight activation to be applied to a weapon and thus allow pattern progress to be unlocked.

Only certain weapons will be eligible–Last Wish weapons are in this pool–and you’ll need Deepsight Harmonizers for the process. Non-raid weapons will cost one Harmonizer and raid weapons will require an additional 15 Spoils of Conquest for weapon crafting. You’ll be able to acquire Deepsight Harmonizers from both tracks of the season pass, although only a few will be available. On the free track, Deepsight Harmonizers will be rewarded at ranks 57, 77, and 93, and on the premium track, you can grab these items at ranks 47, 62, and 84, giving you six Deepsight Harmonizers in total from this season. Only one Deepsight Harmonizer can be stored in the inventory at any time.
