How To Get More Health Elixirs In Assassin’s Creed Mirage

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll only have two health elixirs to start the game, which won’t likely be enough as you press on and eventually fight tougher and more numerous enemies. There’s one way to increase the number of elixirs you have, though, and you can do it pretty early in the game. Here’s how to get more health items in Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage – How to get more health items

While two health elixirs aren’t many, you can increase the total available to you, but technically only by one. To add an additional elixir to your loadout, you’ll want to invest in the Elixir Pocket skill in the skill tree. This adds one extra elixir and costs two skill points, plus one more skill point you’ll need to unlock Auto-Collect, the skill preceding it in the Trickster branch of the skill tree.

As far as we can tell, there’s no way to add any additional elixir slots to your inventory. However, that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with just three of them for any given mission. You can routinely restock your consumable items, like elixirs and tools, by finding and using blue crates found around the world, especially inside restricted areas.

Each of these blue crates will replenish your missing items. It seems as though it was a development decision to limit the number of elixirs you could keep at the ready, while still offering you a method to restocking them. That’s good news, too, because for all of Basim’s skills, he can quickly be overrun by four or more enemies, meaning three elixirs just aren’t going to cut it for some players. Additionally, you can also find elixirs on pickpocketed NPCs.

If, despite all that, you still need more healing options, look for items you can eat, usually found in and around street markets in giant cooking pots. You can’t stash the food to consume later, but any food eaten will instantly replenish a portion of your health bar.

Of course, you could also elect for a glass cannon build using some of the game’s best armor, which cuts your health in half but doubles your damage output. Grab the Elixir Pocket skill early on, then seek out blue crates as needed during missions and you’ll never run dry of your health items.
