HP launches Chromebook 15.6 with Intel processor, price starts at Rs 28,999 – Times of India

HP has expanded its Chromebook notebook lineup in India with the launch of its latest Chromebook 15.6. It is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor and the notebook, according to the company, is designed to meet the needs of students, multitask, collaborate and more.

The HP Chromebook 15.6 is priced at Rs 28,999 and is now available for purchase in India through HP World Stores, HP Online Store, and other e-commerce websites.
Specifications
The HP Chromebook 15.6 comes with a 15.6-inch screen. It is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor. The laptop claims to deliver battery life of up to 11.5 hours and comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, USB ports and more.
Apart from these, the Chromebook 15.6 also comes with Google Assistant, Google Classroom support, HP QuickDrop and more.
The HP Chromebook 15.6 comes in two colours – Forest Teal and Mineral Silver. The device is designed to enhance productivity in a hybrid learning environment with features such as a dedicated numeric keypad and oversized touchpad. It is also enabled with speech-to-text, which helps in multitasking.
The new Chromebook features dual microphones and a Wide Vision HD camera. In addition to the existing storage in the device, users also have access to Google One with a 12-month membership that includes 100GB of cloud storage across Google Apps and services.
