ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers: Line-up and fixtures confirmed for ‘Super Six’ stage | Cricket News – Times of India

The ‘Super Six’ lineup of the ICC World Cup 2023 qualifiers in Zimbabwe got confirmed on Tuesday.
Unbeaten hosts Zimbabwe qualified as Group A toppers, followed by the Netherlands and the two-time champions West Indies. Sri Lanka topped Group B after winning all four matches, followed by second-placed Scotland and Oman.
All points won against opponents that progressed from the group stage will be carried forward. In the Super Six, each team will play the sides they did not meet in the group stage and the top two will qualify for the ODI World Cup, which will be held in India later this year.
Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka took four points through to the Super Six, while Scotland and the Netherlands took two each.
The four teams that did not reach the Super Six stage will remain in Zimbabwe and compete in the Playoffs.
